The Delaware Valley Preparedness Group (DVPG) is a community of people dedicated to building practical skills, strengthening self-reliance, and fostering resilient communities. Rooted in the Delaware Valley’s tradition of neighbors working together, we provide education, hands-on training, and opportunities to connect with others who value preparedness and community service. Whether you’re new to preparedness or experienced, DVPG is a place to learn, share, and help build a stronger, more resilient Delaware Valley.

Building a Prepared Delaware Valley
The Delaware Valley is where a nation was shaped by ordinary people who met extraordinary challenges with courage, preparation, and a commitment to their communities. Inspired by that legacy, our mission is to educate, equip, and connect individuals and families with the skills and knowledge needed to face today’s challenges with confidence. By promoting preparedness, self-reliance, and neighbors helping neighbors, we are building stronger, more resilient communities throughout the Delaware Valley.

Maintaining safe shelter during power outages, extreme weather, and displacement scenarios.

Communications
HAM radio, GMRS, mesh networks, and staying informed when normal channels go down.

Solar, generators, battery banks, and managing energy needs off-grid or during outages.

Neighborhood coordination, situational awareness, and building mutual-aid networks.
